Affordable Treatment
At BayArea Hyperbarics, our goal is to make affordable treatment available to all patients for whom Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is critical. We will work with you and your insurance company or healthcare plan to determine the reimbursable portion of your HBOT and to develop a payment arrangement with you. We also offer an affordable and flexible payment plan for qualifying patients. BayArea Hyperbarics is currently the most affordable option in the Bay Area.
Factors that Determine the Cost of
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
- the patient’s diagnosis or condition,
- if the patient has insurance that covers the specific diagnosis or condition,
- the type of insurance coverage (plan reimbursement),
- the effective date of the insurance coverage,
- the specific plan benefits of the insurance coverage: coinsurance percentage, calendar year deductible amount and what portion of the deductible has been met at time of treatment, and calendar out-of-pocket maximums including what portion of the out-of-pocket maximum has been met at time of treatment,
- the patient’s commitment to the treatment,
- the patient’s ability to pay.
Payment for your portion of the HBOT is expected at the time of service. We will work with you, your insurance company, and/or your health plan or group to facilitate the payment process; however, you are ultimately responsible for the cost of your hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Please have your physician call us with any questions he or she may have, including hyperbaric protocol for specific diagnoses or conditions.
