Clinic Director and Founder at Bay Area Hyperbarics

Lisa St. John, M.S. is our Clinic Director and Founder. She earned her Master’s degree from Harvard University, completed a Fellowship at Stanford University, and has spent the last 30 years working in the healthcare field.

She used hyperbarics to heal her own body after a long, protracted, painful illness. After which, she became a strong proponent of hyperbarics.

Lisa has been active in health care both at an international level with the World Health Organization and on a local level at Stanford Medical Center, Mayfield Health Center, Kaiser, and St. Francis Hospital in San Francisco. She has been a featured speaker for Kaiser Continuing Education and on multiple news broadcasts.

In her free time, Lisa enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Jesse Ward, L.V.N, C.H.T. is our Clinic Coordinator who oversees both our our locations. He has been with Bay Area Hyperbarics since 2013. Jesse received a degree in nursing in 2012, and since then has specialized in the field of hyperbaric oxygen therapy. He continued his education by attending International ATMO in San Antonio, Texas for hyperbaric certification (C.H.T.) where he graduated with Distinction.

Jesse has since been awarded the title of Certified Hyperbaric Technologist With Distinction by the National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology. When Jesse is not administering personalized therapy to patients, he can be found fishing or camping with his family.
