Jeffrey H. Kaplan, M.D., F.A.C.S. is the Medical Director at Bay Area Hyperbarics. He has his own private practice in Vascular Surgery in San Jose. He is board certified in Surgery with a special certificate in Vascular Surgery. He is also an instructor in ultrasound for the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Kaplan has extensive experience in minimally invasive arterial and venous procedures, and performs laparascopic surgery, video assisted thoracic surgery, and endovascular surgery. He has published in the Journal of Vascular Surgery and has given numerous lectures on chronic wounds and wound healing. He has been featured on Dr. Dean Edell for new treatments in the management of venous disease.
Dr. Kaplan earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, followed by an Internship and Residency in General Surgery at the University of Vermont. His Vascular Surgery Fellowship was completed at Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation in La Jolla, California. Dr. Kaplan’s extensive medical training, education, and experience make him a valuable asset to Bay Area Hyperbarics and its patients.
